Hiya sports fans! My
name is Perry Black (aka Perky). I am a 55 year old machinist and
avid sport bike rider! I have been riding since I can't remember.
I bought my first bike at the age of 27, a new '73 Yamaha RT360 or 360
Enduro as they were commonly called back in those days. My first road bike
was a '75 RD350 that I bought new in '79, I went on to purchase several
RD350's since and own 2 of them now.
I live in Denver Colorado about 20 minutes from some of the best canyon riding areas in the country and I know them like the back of my hand!
I thought you mite like to see a bit of Colorado that few have ever seenbefore especially tourists ;-) (Red Mountain) I got here on my NX250, spent an entire 2 weeks in this area actually...
Yankee Boy Basin is absolutely
beautiful in the spring when all the wildflowers are in full bloom, same
area as Red Mountain and during the sametrip ;-) This area is only about
6 hours from my house...
 I am a machinist by trade, 18 years now and make a lot of my own bike parts especially for my road racers, that's half the fun of road racing! Speaking of road racing, I hold MRA #196, am a member of the AMA, the Colorado Chapter of the Honda Sport Touring Association and a life member of the Rampart Range Motorcycle Committee where I was the chairman for 2 years.
I started racing Karts at the age of 12 then went into drag racing at 16, I raced a F gas car for several years before getting into dragsters, after dragracing I started trail riding then went into motocross at the age of 36, I continued motocross racing for 10 years then did a bit of dual sport riding before I started road racing in '96 with my RZ350 then on to the RG500 (it's never been on the street...always a race bike it's entire life) during that first year. I have a real passion for
bikes as you can see from my stable of bikes! My dirt bikes include:

As you can see, I have a
real passion for motorcycles, and besides, who said I could only have just
one ;)
I have a bunch of model railroad stuff, it's all in boxes now waiting for me to get too dang old to ride scooters any longer! I also do landscape photography as a hobby. I am also a life member of the Colorado Railroad Historical Foundation ;-) I collect ornate antique coffee cups, but I've only been doing this for about 10 years now and have only found a few (5) that I really couldn't live without mostly at estate sales and such. I also love dogs and have
two border collies named Scooter and Boomer. Take a look at this
